Autumn at Tokyo University

4 December 2006

Autumn just reached Tokyo and thus our campus. The park in the center of Hongo campus is always nice, but especially in autumn, also the lanes with ginko trees are a famous sight of the campus. When I saw it getting to its climax, I brought my camera and took these pictures in the lunch break.

There are often people painting at our campus. Mostly some of the old buildings, one of the lanes or in the park (mostly from the other side). Now everybody gathered here in the sun to put their impression of the autumn colours on the canvas.

The main gate of the campus is normally not so popular (the red gate is more beautiful) but now, with the bright yellow ginko trees, I thought it was still worth a picture.
