Praha (Czech Republic)

Sept 2007

Together with someone I met at the conference I spent the sunday in Prague. We met at a hill just north of the river flowing around the city centre. From there, you have a great view over the city and it is not crowded at all.

After climbing ca. 300 steps in the tower of the castle's church, we had this great view over prague.

In the evening we went to an organ/violin concert of classical works in a cathedral. There are many such performances every day, so we collected a lot of flyers when walking around during the day, and then decided on the location considering the pieces played (and throwing away everything that listed a soprano, which reduced the options with ca. 50%). This proved a good choice, also because of the cathedral's interior.
