Rose garden & Nikko trip

May 13th I went to the Kyu-Furukawa gardens with Tobi and Mae Rose. It is quite close to my house and is most famous for the rose garden.
The last weekend of May I went to Nikko. For a conference at our university, some old american professor had come over and my professor asked me if I could guide him to and in Nikko. I had already seen the temples there during my trip in 2004, but as expenses were covered and I got paid for the job, I agreed to spend my day that way.
The famous red bridge was being restorated last time I visited, it was the firest time I saw the real thing.
