Christmas
November/December 2008
Like the previous years, we (Tobi, Mae Rose and me) organized a christmas party for our 3 laboratories again. With the help of some friends we baked lots of cookies again and prepared gluhwein and hot chocolate.
We also went to Roppogi (a neighborhood of Tokyo) again this year to see the christmas illuminations and enjoy german food at the christmas market.
This year the Tokyo Tower is 50 years old and therefore they have a special lightup in rainbow colors and blue lights from 20:00 in the evenings (normally it is white/orange).
And this year I also made a Nengajou (New Year's card) to send to my Japanese friends and Colleagues. 2009 is the year of the cow in Chinese astrology...
