Berlin (Germany): Part 3
30 May - 2 June 2010
Kaiser Wilhelm Gedächtniskirche
Roof of the Sony building at the Potsdamer platz
[HDR] Here is the same Sony building roof from a somewhat different angle. Feels like home to me!
[HDR] Reichstag (German parliament building). It should be very nice from the inside, but the line was really long every time I passed by, and I didn't feel like waiting 1.5 hour. If you come very early in the morning, or in the evening it may be better.

[HDR] The [UNESCO] Palaces and Parks of Potsdam and Berlin are famous, but I had figured out that the most interesting ones there would be closed that day, and it was a rainy day, so I decided to stay closer and just have a look at the Charlottenburg Palace [wiki] (see also Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation Berlin-Brandenburg).
The garden was nice, but I missed the Japanese perfection: weeds in the hedges, black and red gravel stones in the white patches and vice versa... Too bad that Europe doesn't have a tradition of dedicated zen monks living at such palaces
Behind the castle and the garden, there is a large park where I had a quiet stroll (through the rain).
The old building of the Techincal University --where the workshop was held-- was very nice. (I'm sorry for the blurry pictures, I must have had some setting wrong...)
