These are pictures of the Koishikawa Korakuen Gardens in the north of Tokyo, just next to the Tokyo Dome. Except the first 2 images, these photos are among the first ones taken with my new Canon Kiss Digital.

The full moon bridge, called this way because the bridge and its reflection in the water together would form an image of a full moon. This effect was not really visible, so I decided to take a shot from a larger distance.

When wandering in a garden like this one you forget that it is actually in a big city, but sometimes you are remembered...

One sort of irisses was already in full bloom. In june a whole field filled with several different colours of irisses should bloom and a make a grat picture, so maybe I will return there...

Everywhere in Tokyo there are azalea (japonica ?) bushes next to the roads, which give the streets a nice colourfull look.
